James Crawford '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is James Crawford and I would like to tell you about myself. I am a 6'3 right handed pitcher who plays for Mount Saint Joseph High School in Baltimore, Maryland. M.S.J. competes in the M.I.A.A. A conference, a highly competitive league, in which we compete teams such as Calvert Hall, Archbishop Spalding, and Archbishop Curly. During my sophmore year I started 3rd base and pitched for my Jv team and we went to the championship and won it against Calvert Hall. During the summer I play with the M.S.J. summer team and we play in Eddie Brooks Collegiate 22U. 

I have several goals for my college career. First, I would like to focus on academics to achieve my ultimate dream of going to law school and becoming a lawyer. Second, I am looking for a college that I can play baseball with which will allow me to reach my fullest athletic potential. I am interested in being part of an organization that promotes team unity and support. I believe my athletic skills on the mound, batting, corner infield and outfield will contribute to the team I am lucky enough to be a part of. 

I have been very fortunate in having the opportunity to attend a school like Mount Saint Joseph High School and play at a highly competitive level. I would be very happy to find the same academic and athletic environment at the ultimate school I end up playing for. I believe that team play and individual effort is the path to college success. I hope you will consider me as a worthy prospect for your school.
