Matthew Breaux '15 Recruiting Profile

I have played all 3 out field positions, 2nd and shortstop, and I also pitch. I pitched over 20 innings this summer and have less than a 1 era. I have also pitched this fall and have less than a 1 era. I am a great team mate. Our high school team plays in one of toughest districts in the state. My batting average in district play was over 300 and my overall batting average was about 285. During district play I had 4 game winning hits and 2 of those were walk offs. My batting average for the summer and fall ball was over 400 from either the lead off or #2 spot. I am not a power hitter but i usually put the ball in play. I am a very hard worker. Last years 60 time was 6.9 and my fastest shuttle time this fall was 3.98.

My college goals are to get an education and to hopefully play baseball for someone who thinks hardwork and determination are just as important as size.
