Mason Long '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3", 180 lbs catcher from Des Allemands, Louisiana.  I am a proud Tiger, Class of 2021 at Hahnville High School located in Boutte, Louisiana.  I have started on the Freshman and Junior Varsity baseball team this past summer during the Metro summer league representing Hahnville High School, a 5A school.   I was also a starter on 2 teams during an instructional fall league at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana this past fall. 

I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between classroom and the baseball field.  I am conscious of my body and health and want to make sure I stay healthy while attending college, that's important to me.  I would like a college where I could pursue my education with a concentration in engineering, preferably mechanical.  I have dreams to attend a DI college, but would consider DII, DIII or other levels to have the ability to achieve my goals academically.   I am willing to visit camps across the country during the next four years to find the right college.
