Dwain Varisco Jr. '17 Recruiting Profile

       My name is Dwain Varisco and I am currently a student-athlete that has a burning desire to play at the next level. I go to school and play football and baseball at St. Michael High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I sadly dropped my third sport being basketball this year due to stress and time management problems. I have always played all sports at a high level with guys that have gotten up to three years older than me.  I am a senior this year looking for a state championship. Primarily, I play in the infield, but feel as comfortable and confident playing the outfield as well. I am also a hard throwing right-handed pitcher that throws strikes and has total control of the game. Setting good examples for everyone to see is very important to me. I feel like what separates me from other athletes is the amount of love and passion that I have for the game. Everyday I want to be on that baseball field whether it's practice or a game. 

        I'm always very competitive not just in sports but in the class room also. I truly care about my education and take it very seriously. Out of my first three and a quarter years in high school, I have a 2.8 GPA out of 4.0. I'm determined that by the end of my senior year, this will be at least a 3.0. I would love to continue and grow further in my education while I continue to do what I love most. 

        I have been playing this game since I was three years old and don't ever want to give it up. This game is very special to me. I would love to continue my dream of making it to the highest level.
