My primary focus at this point in my life is to attend a college where I can excel both academically and athletically. My first priority is to concentrate on the academic goal – which is to attend a smaller institution where I can major in Health Science. I feel that a smaller institution size would fit my personality best simply because I grew up in a small town and have benefited from receiving one-on-one instruction; however, I am open to a variety of college sizes. Failure is not an option in the classroom and I expect to maintain my 3.5 GPA . My second priority is to play baseball at the next level and continue to work as hard as I do now. With that said, I recognize I have room for improvement and have four (4) goals athletically: (1) Find a coach that will better me as an all-around player, as I know I am far from my fullest potential; (2) Find a team that bonds well and has a brotherhood on and off the field; (3) Own a starting job day in and day out; (4) Win championships no matter where I go -- I want to win!
I feel there are many things that make me a good candidate for any team. I work hard day in and day out; I'm always looking to improve myself; and my mentality is that the best player in the world can always get better. Academically I consider myself a good candidate for any team. I have maintained my GPA my entire life. Wherever I attend college, I will represent myself well by being a good student. One final asset that sets me apart from other recruits is my baseball IQ and my "mental" side of the game. I have been described by my basketball coach as "the glue" that holds our team together.
