Ryan Ruthrauff '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a scholar athlete who feels blessed by the opportunity to play the game I love most. My goal is to be the best that I can be personally, academically, and athletically. I feel that I bring leadership qualities to my team and consider myself a hard-worker both on and off the field. My value comes in that I have game experience at every position and willing to play wherever needed. I have a strong work ethic. I am a complete team player. I am willing to learn and apply new skills. I practice my craft year-round by maintaining my mechanics, continually to develop myself both physically and mentally, and, applying those skills on the field of competition. I welcome any challenge and will do whatever is needed to get past it.  While putting so much time and thought into my baseball, I also work hard in the class room and maintain outstanding academics. Baseball is no longer just a sport to me. It is my ambition, my passion, and, I have grown to love every aspect of the game.  I strive at the game of baseball with my heart, self-control, and most importantly perseverance. Baseball is my passion and I will do anything to never leave it.
