Adam Neal '15 Recruiting Profile

My college goals and aspirations are to be a student-athlete at a college that not only has athletic accomplishments but also has a strong academic base for the Major of my choice. I feel my strengths as a student-athlete are my leadership skills. I strive to be a leader in my class and on the diamond as well setting the example of a hardworking player who shows up to the field everyday working on something to improve my game and others as well.

From a performance standpoint I was chosen All-City my junior year, batted .398 with a .971 fielding percentage, and was 4-0 on the mound. I intend to be the team's leader my Senior year.

What makes me different is I come from a highly regarded High School baseball program in Cathedral High School and coach in Rich Andriole.  Coach Andriole has not only taught me how to play the game of baseball the right way but has also taught me to compete in every little aspect of the game as well. I  feel I do the small things that some other players might not do or maybe don’t know how to do.

In the classroom Cathedral has taught me you earn what time you put into your studies. Working hard not only on the field is expected, but working even harder in the classroom is more important.
