I began playing baseball at the age of four, by the time I was twelve and started on my first travel team I knew I wanted to continue on as long as possible through my life. Since the beginning of my years in baseball, as well as other sports, I have learned a lot about hard work and determination and realize that talent can only take a player so far if they have no work ethic. I believe one of my greatest attributes to a team is my drive and willingness to learn. I am constantly working to improve my game throughout the entire year and settle for nothing less than my best. Outside of practice I work on my own with the guidance of my coach relentlessly to develop my skills and strengths and I look for a coach and team who shares my passion and determination. I have been very blessed to have the resources and opportunities available to better myself, and that same standard of a coaching staff as well as facility is something I rank highly on my list of criteria for a college. I want to play for a successful team that loves the game and works hard, and I believe the coach is the most vital piece in that aspect. I look for a coach who will help me to reach my full potential and who shares common values in work ethic, respect, integrity, and competitiveness. Baseball has been one of the most important parts of my life since I was young and I greatly look forward to taking my next step with a team, coach, and university that shares my enthusiasm.
