Dalton Shaw '16 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a junior and  the starting varsity catcher for the Northview High School baseball team. My ultimate goal is to play baseball at the professional level.  I aspire to gain a degree in Architectural Design.  

I would like to attend a college or university that offers both a quality education and competitive baseball program so that I can advance my baseball skills, play and contribute to the team, all while working on my degree.  Academically, I currently have a 3.2 GPA and am working to improve.

I am a good candidate because of my work ethic, quality character, family background, love of the game, position played, above average arm and coachability.

I may be different because I am very well trained and serious in the weight room.  I am very polite and can carry on a conversation.  I am very appreciative of all my opportunities and those that have and continue to help me.  Most importantly, I realize my path is a journey and I am a student for life, always seeking to learn and improve upon my skills and myself.
