Bryce Thelander '17 Recruiting Profile

I would like to attend a top academic school because earning a four year degree is very important to me.  I am not willing to sacrifice academics to play baseball, but I know that there are numerous excellent schools with equally good baseball programs.  I am a good candidate for a college level team because I will give 100% all of the time, I will lead by example, I will support my teammates and I am a coachable player.  I will help my team win games.  I will represent my school and my team in a respectable manner at all times as I currently do.  I will work hard in the classroom, and I will never put the team in jeopardy by not being eligible.  I will be the player a coach and my teammates can count on.  I feel I am an elite athlete with above average speed and agility, and I excel at the middle infield positions.  I have had my swing evaluated at several college camps- I received a 5/5 on one evaluation.  I have been a lead off hitter since I have the ability to square up the ball with power and get on base.  I am a strong two strike hitter. `I look forward to being part of a collegiate team where I can excel on the field and in the classroom.
