I am a high school senior and my goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level and earn my Bachelors Degree.  I am interested in majoring in Business.

I am a strong leader, and like to pump up the team and get everyone motivated to be "all in" in practice, in school and at our games.   I was elected to our High School "Spirit Pride" by my fellow classmates.  As part of the Spirit Pride, it is our responsibility to prime the fields before games, lead chants in the stands with fellow students to gain excitement during our athletic games, and come up with creative ideas to help our school have a sense of community and pride. 

I am very athletic and have played competitive travel baseball for the last 8 years in Georgia.    My strongest skills are my athleticism, exceptional ball handling skills, base running, baseball IQ, and the desire to learn and grow from coaching.   I have a vertical jump of 36 inches, and am not afraid to make those running, jumping or diving plays in the infield or outfield.  My 60 yard dash averages 7.00 flat, however I have reached just under 7.00 at times and continue to work-out to improve my strength and speed.  

I have good eyes down the barrel and good use of hips, along with a strong low finish when hitting. I rarely strike-out, as I am a strong contact hitter. My last season I had a .325 BA.  At a young 17 year old Senior, I am still growing and work-out several times a week.  I am confident that I will continue to be in excellent  health and condition throughout my baseball career and life, as this is very important to me.  In addition to baseball, I also play basketball and lacrosse.    

I know if given the chance, I will be a good student and will remain very committed to helping my baseball team play at our highest level.  I have the dedication it takes to play college baseball and know I will be a valuable team member of any college baseball program.
