Jacob Hawkins '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Hawkins and I am in the class of 2018. I have been playing baseball since the age of four, and have been passionate about the game of baseball ever since. I am primarily a pitcher but can also play the corner infield positions. My goals in college are to play for am outstanding program, as well as to be challenged academically. I ultimately have aspirations to play in the major leagues. I am a good candidate for the college level, because I have a very high work ethic and will do whatever it takes for the program to achieve their ultimate goal. What sets me apart from other recruits is that I'm a team player,  I always have a positive attitude, and I have a bulldog mentality on the mound no matter who it is I am going against. My passion and hunger for the game is unmatched, and I will dedicate everyday to getting better for the team.
