- Selected to 15U First Team All American. All American Game Highlights "In the MIF, Kristian Franklin from Michigan showed why he belonged on the National Team as he is not only a plus runner, but he is one of the smoothest MIFs in the whole country that also generates plus power from the plat.

- He is typically a MIF that played OF at the event and got better reading balls and taking proper routes / angles as the week went on. Arm strength has improved with throws displaying accuracy and flashing carry as he will benefit by continuing to improve carry through a long toss program. At the plate, Kristian displays quick hands that work through a level swing path. He needs to work to keep hands inside the ball to utilize all fields more and continue to improve hitting grades. Power numbers will increase as he learns to use his lower half more through the swing. Mental makeup is a plus as he works / plays hard and has a chance to become a solid player over the next 3 years.

Line drive swing plane, lets the ball get deep, late trigger. Smooth defensive actions, good footwork, long arm action, projectable arm. Interesting young player to follow. Good student. - Kristian Franklin is a 2015 OF from Detroit, MI who attends Detroit Country Day. Franklin has a young, thin body. Even stance at the plate, hands away from body, swings down on the ball, developing strength, swings works solid. Long arm action in the outfield, solid actions, solid arm strength. Solid student. PG Grade: 7.0

- Kristian is a young OF that will graduate in 2015. Feet are quick and active and he is aggressive in taking proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through well. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy on his throws. He covers ground and displays range in the OF with defensive grades improving as more arm strength is developed. At the plate, Franklin shows an aggressive approach with hands on working through a level swing path. Lower half works well and he shows a feel for the barrel. At the event, he was 2 for 6 with 2 BB. Hitting grades will improve as he works to keep hands inside the ball to utilize all fields. With 4 years to further develop, Kristian has a lot of potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
