Hi, my name is Clif Bryant and I am 6'0" and 225 lbs. I play 1B at Trenton High School and for Gatorball Baseball Academy. I have started on the varsity the past two seasons and should graduate in the top 10% of my class in 2013. I am a left handed hitter and Prospect Wire says that I have "plus power". I want to play baseball at the highest level that my skills will allow me to. I have a 3.85 GPA and work hard at my studies. I would like to major in math or engineering. I would like to play for a program that is as intererested in me as a person as it is as a player. Since hitting is my specialty I would especially like to play at a program that has a good hitting facility where I can hit in any weather condition, day or night. In the spring I hit .462 and led the team in average, hits, doubles, home runs, and rbis. I had 47 rbis as a sophmore and hit 3rd in the order. This summer I hit .405 and led the team with doubles, home runs and rbis and hit 4th in the order. In the Prospect Wire Underclass All American Showcase at UCF in August I was player of the game 2 of the 4 games and hit a home run out of center field with a BBCOR bat - about 420 feet. My power has improved greatly over the past 6 months. I work hard at my game and often have to travel an hour one way to take hitting lessons from my travel ball coach. I will continue to work hard and hope to get an opportunity to play for a college that will help me grow as a player and a person.
