Currently, I’m entering my junior year of high school, (2017 Graduate) and I want to play collegiate baseball at a highly competitive level. I am a solid defensive catcher with a bat that can hit to all sides of the field. I believe that one thing I’m better than most other players is making adjustments while up to bat. When I’m behind the plate, a strength is communication and leading the defense. For my pop to second, my feet and hands are quick but I’m working on developing my arm strength. From catch to release is around a 0.7 seconds, with a recently recording pop-time of 2.09 seconds at "Prospect Select" Tournament. One thing that I believe separates myself from the majority of kids my age is work ethic. Every day is either the gym or speed and agility and practicing baseball. Additionally, I am extremely coachable and learn very easily. Academically I have learned the importance of my grades. Freshman year I had a 2.6 GPA. After realizing how important grades are for playing college baseball I came back with a 3.4 my sophomore year.

Both my mental and physical game continue to grow in leaps and bounds during my Junior season. I started the season as the second string Catcher and second string First Baseman, mainly riding the bench. However, I took advantage of my opportunity to catch bullpens both during games and weekends, focusing on the art of receiving and blocking. With the playoffs rapidly approaching, I've earned the role of starting Catcher. My best pop-time is down to 1.9 seconds while routinely throwing 2.0 or lower.
My high school coach has helped countless players reach the next level to include both college and the minor leagues. Earlier this season he complimented me by saying he's never seen a player improve more physically from their Freshman to Junior years. He's rewarded my hard-work with the opportunity to play with him this summer, as a back-up Catcher, on the top Florida Travel Ball (FTB) team, FTB Tucci (nationally ranked 5th last season).
