Alec Kushner '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since 5 years old, travel baseball since 10 years old, and high school baseball. I have been blessed to be able to excel academically, particularly in math and sciences; and play baseball full-time. Baseball is my passion and my ultimate goal is to play professionally if the opportunity arises. I will always work hard on and off the field to continue to improve my game. I took 10 lessons in sports psychology, continue to take private and group lessons, and take advantage of every opportunity to play and to assist coaches. I bring positive energy to my team and try to bring the best out of my teammates. Especially behind the dish I try to help my pitchers play their best which in turn creates good chemistry and energy between us, and the team. Another aspect of my game is my versatility with playing the corners in the infield and the outfield. I really care about my team and try to do everything I can to lead by example. American Heritage School has prepared me for the next level both academically and athletically and I will give 110% to the college/university that I attend.
