Joshua Herring '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Joshua Herring. I hope to play baseball at the collegiate level, and if possible, beyond.  I am a hard working right handed pitcher who is effective and has good off-speed and breaking pitches.  I will work to rise to the top of the team, and refuse to be complacent once I get there. I play on the varsity squad at Maret School in Washington, D.C.  I am the pitching ace on the team.  I have been on varsity since freshman year, and have been the ace since sophomore year.  I hope to work and grow with a Division 1 team that is focused on both athletics and academics.  I am working to get my GPA to be the highest it can be.  Freshman year of high school was and is the bane of my existence.  Please look at my transcript to see.  I have been putting forth maximum effort at Maret School these last few years in order to put myself in the best situation possible academically.  When I get to college, I know that I will be able to thrive in any environment because I have the drive and passion necessary to succeed.   Please contact me if you have any questions!
