Jason Sweet '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 17 year old Senior from Plainfield High School in Connecticut. Over my 3 years so far at Plainfield High School I have been lucky to play for 3 teams that made it to the state quarterfinals twice and the state semi-finals once. My freshman year I was not a starter on the team that played in the state semi-finals and lost by one run in the 14th inning. The next two years I started on the team at 2nd base and we continued our high level of play and hope to expand on that this year.

In college I aspire to become a physical therapist and earn my degree at the college I attend. I will add leadership aspects to the team which will apply to my future profession as well as playing not for yourself, but for the team, because the goal isn't to earn individual achievements. The goal is to take home a ring at the end of the day.
