I would like to go to the College and study sports management and sports medicine. Also I would like to go to a college where I could make it on the baseball team at second base. I have been in love with baseball my entire life. Baseball just flows in my families blood, My great grandpa, Ed Heusser, played in the MLB on the teams Reds, Cardinals, Athletics, Phillies from 1935 to 1948. Also my Dad, Dennis Heusser, played baseball in high school and my brother, Brandon Heusser, played baseball in high school and college at Colby Community college. So I guess it’s my turn to keep baseball in the family and play in college.
I am a three sport varsity athlete in football, wrestling, and baseball. I have wrestled since I moved to Strasburg in first grade because my uncle was the wrestling coach and I just wanted to be around him all the time. Also I have played baseball and football before I moved to Strasburg. I have been a four year varsity athlete in football and wrestling and three years in baseball. All of the blessing I have had in sports is why I want to study something in sports medicine or sports management. I am not for sure which one I would like to do more right now. All I know is that I want to study something with sports.
I have had a lot of injuries in sports throughout all of the years I have in them. I have had everything from sprained ankles to broken arms. When I am going through my recovery I have had the best physical therapists to help me through what I need. Having these good physical therapist have made me want to go into sports medicine to become a physical therapist or personal trainer so that I can be just like them one day.
