Personal Statement

From as long as I can remember, baseball has always been a burning passion of mine. Having the opportunity to play baseball in college excites me like no other. The college experience I imagine is going to an excellent academic school that can take me places after baseball but also play at a competitive level to push myself to rise to, thus giving me a full and valuable college experience. My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease two years ago and it has weighed on my family and the decisions my family makes financially. Playing baseball and getting a good scholarship for it would my parents pay for college and would be less of a burden on them and that idea motivates me and drives me as not only a baseball player but as a student. If given the chance to play college baseball, I would be one of the, if not the hardest working player on the team. I love playing on teams that have fun and bond in the process of playing and preparing to play. Even when I'm not contributing on the field, I provide and loud voice and a motivator in the dugout. I love the sport of baseball and i'm beyond excited to see where it can take me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
