Personal Statement

I have always had passion and a strong desire to play baseball at the next level, and I am willing to do whatever I can to get that opportunity. I started playing baseball in Southern California when I was five years old and have played in every possible season of every year since. I have been the starting short stop on every team I have played on, playing almost every inning. I am always one of the top 4 in the line up and have always had great coach support. I am fully commited to the process and want to work as hard as I can to better myself in the classroom and on the field. I am known as a respectful kid who is very organized and responsible in everything I do. I have always excelled in academics with a high GPA and ACT score. That hard work in school translates to the same willingness and aspirations on the field, whether in a game, practice, or on my own.
