Bryan James '14 Recruiting Profile

I have three loves in my life: God, Family and baseball. I have spent this past year working very hard on my game. I am currently the starting second baseman on my high school team. I played this past summer on a Connie Mack team called the Riverside Royals. I had the opportunity to play several positions. I started games at second, shortstop, third and the outfield. I batted any where from first to ninth. I batting average finished just above 340. 

I currently attend a college prep high school. The academic work load is really tough. After a slow start my freshman year, i have managed to bring my GPA back up to around a 3.0. I anticipate graduating with a GPA around a 3.1. My SAT scores are a little lower than what I would like and are willing to take them again. 

I am looking for a school with a good science department as i would like to major in chemistry. I love baseball and would love to continue my career in college. My coach calls me a gym rat. I stay after practice and take ground balls and batting practice as long as I can. Whatever college takes a chance on me will not be disappointed. I am a hard worker inside the classroom and on the baseball field. Thank you for checking out my profile.
