My name is Damion (DJ) Hernandez. I am a 6'4", 195 lb senior. I attend La Quinta High School in La Quinta, California. I have been playing baseball since I was four years old. I have worked hard my whole life to get where I am now in my game and will continue to work even harder to get even better. I always play the game hard like it should be and know how to motivate my teammates on and off the field. I know how to lead my team and know how to work hard and try to achieve our goals. I would like to attend a Division I college. I know I have the work ethic and the desire to play in Division I baseball and will do everything in my power to not only improve myself but also my team as a whole. I have not narrowed down what my major will be in college but I will have it decided before my senior year and will also look at what colleges have to offer in their majors. My number one goal in life right now is to receive a Division I scholarship and to gradguate from college. If the opportunity comes up on continuing my baseball career after college, I will take the opportunity but i also want something to fall back on if baseball doesn't work out in the long run. I know I can work up to be a Division I baseball player because I am such a hard worker on and off the field and know how to play the game of baseball. I have great baseball IQ and I am working on my five tools of the game everyday. I will work as hard as I can and will pursue my dream as college baseball player. I have one life and I will do whatever it takes to make the best out of it.
