Luis Pimentel '16 Recruiting Profile

From a young age I was recognized for my drive for self improvement. I've always taken it upon myself to become the best player that I can be, and I believe that this demeanor separates me from other athletes. Wherever I find myself, whether it be on the field or in the real world, I'm always working to better myself. As an student-athlete I would love to go to a school that suits me not only athletically, but also academically. I am looking to major in either business or finance in order to receive a bachelor's degree. Although I play baseball at a smaller high school, our coach prides himself in the difficulty of our preseason schedule. We travel five to six hours every weekend to play more challenging schools such as those in the Bay Area. Because I have faced these tougher opponents, I believe that I am prepared to compete at the next level. This greater level of competition has forced me to become a better athlete, and I have pushed myself to be better than I previously thought possible. If chosen to play on a college squad, I know that I will bring a hard working attitude continue to improve every day.
