Personal Statement

My name is Lucas Wall and I'm a 17 year old student athlete who loves the game of baseball and plays at a very high level.  I have been involved in football, soccer, basketball and golf, but my true love is playing baseball.  Since the age of three (3), I have been active year round with multiple sports and love competition.  I have always been a team player and enjoy being around other players that are passionate about playing baseball at a high level.

My true dream has always been to play baseball professionally and I have worked very hard to be proficient in as many positions possible on the baseball field and understood that I needed to be ready to play any and all positions when I got to the high school level.  This past year was my second year as starting varsity catcher and team captain as a junior.  We had an outstanding high school season with the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs, going 26-5-2 and finishing just short of the
Arizona Division II State Championship.  Overall, we had a very strong team and had some of the best team chemistry I've seen in a while.

Summer was a blast on the 17U AZ Athletics winning the Four Corners Tournament and playing respectfully in the PG National Championships in Lake Point, GA. Had a lot of activity on my NCSA site and I appreciate all the coaches taking a look at my profile.

Fall Ball has started off great with a 3rd Place showing in the PG/Evoshield National Championships out of 98 teams.  Played very well and hit the ball hard consistently finishing the tournament batting .500 with NO Errors.  Our Junior College series is going well with us playing strong teams and seeing great pitching.  I look forward to playing in the upcoming AZ Senior All Academic Game and remember how much fun it was to play in the AZ Junior All Academic Game last year.

I know you have a lot of great players to look at, but I promise to bring a level of leadership and passion to your team that's hard to find. I appreciate your consideration and hope you allow me the opportunity to show you how I can be an impact player in your program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
