Alex Gilpin '15 Recruiting Profile

My parents have bestowed upon me above average athletic and intellectual abilities. They have instilled a solid character foundation based on common sense and practicability. I work each and every day to complete tasks in all learning situations to the best of my abilities. I can listen and learn from others. I am strong academically in the areas of math and science. Sunrise Mountain High School has provided an engineering program that I have thoroughly enjoyed through my 4 years of high school. My collegiate goal is to complete a bachelor's degree and at least a masters degree in the area of math or science or engineering. Athletically, I have been exposed to many different sports. I have played varsity soccer. I played a year of football. My passion is baseball. I want to be known as a strong individual team player. I also want to be involved in the community where I will be attending college utilizing my strengths and talents.
