I have always been on the path to attend college and get a degree. I started high school with a couple freshman level classes already completed in 8th grade. I was able to take AP/Honors classes when offered, which will benefit my class rank at Liberty. I have maintained a high GPA through high school, along with being invited to become a member of National Honor Society this year. I am also involved with youth group at the local church and other charity organizations. Other hobbies include; fishing and hunting.
I have played on a travel team for several years, mostly as an outfielder. Freshman year, the coach had discovered a talent for pitching. I have only been focused on pitching, along with still playing outfield or 3rd base for the last 2 years. Most recently, I pitched in the USA baseball tournament in AZ and hit 82 and ran a time of 6.9 in the combine. I am continuing to work on strength, flexibility and mechanics. I have been working privately with both Matt Denny (high school coach of the year in AZ from Greenway High School) with hitting and Mike Scheifelbein (former U of A pitcher) for pitching. I strength train under the supervision of Physical Therapists/Exercise Physiologists. I played in the AZ Fall Junior Classic 2016 and made the All Academic Team.
I am looking forward to improving my skills playing the field as well as pitching this upcoming season, with improved strength and speed.
