Andrew Burns '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Burns and I am a member of the class of 2014 at New Braunfels High School in New Braunfels, TX. I like to think of myself as a true student-athlete. I am a member of NHS, was named to the Texas Academic All-State team, and put equal emphasis on the importance of basketball and academics. I hope to play basketball at a strong academic college where I can play an important role in the formation of a strong team for 4 years. I am a point guard college graduate, despite playing typically small forward or shooting guard, and I have great confidence in myself as an all around player and a leader that always puts the team first. Ultimately, my goal is to help my team win in any way I can and I possess a strong and dependable locker room presence. If given the opportunity, I believe I can be a dynamic scorer and, perhaps more importantly, bring great Basketball IQ and efficiency to a next level program.
