Graham Core '17 Recruiting Profile

My dream for years has been to compete in sports at the highest level. Ever since I was 5 years old I played all three major sports ( baseball, football, basketball, with soccer and swimming as well) and was a starter in all three major sports. In 10th grade I spent an entire summer on my own at IMG Academy in their wood bat league to see if I loved baseball enough to focus entirely on that goal and I came out of that experience with an unwavering commitment to he game of baseball and playing it at the highest level I can reach.  I led my team to the championship game, which we won ,and I was voted the Team Leader Award by the coaches. This experience helped me realize that  my best opportunity to play sports in college would be in baseball, so, despite success in other sports , I have focused primarily on that goal since then. I am an excellent student with a high GPA and I want to be a success in life so I want the best education I can find in a great college and I am hoping to combine that with playing baseball. I have played travel ball at the highest levels with Team Mississippi and after with East Cobb Baseball and faced the best pitchers in the game my age ( and older) since 9th grade and have been successful.  Based on my success against in Perfect Game tournaments where I made three All Tourney Teams in 2016, I know I can compete successfully against the best in college and help my team win. I hope to find the college where I am a good fit for the team and for myself. No one outworks me on or off the field so I will get better as well.
