I was born and reared in suburban Philadelphia, excelling in both soccer and tennis. Soccer was my true passion but, unfortunately, neither my parents nor I knew what to do with soccer recruiting, and that left me off the soccer field in college. I did work really hard and made the tennis team as a walk-on at Ithaca College, though.
I was a four-year college tennis player at Ithaca College in New York. My junior and senior years, I was team captain and started the first fall tennis program in the history of the school. I graduated as one of the top 10 most successful players in Bomber history.
I have now been with NCSA for 15 years and have helped thousands of student-athletes with the recruiting process. I wake up every day and get the chance to speak with families from all over the country about recruiting. Getting to know these families and learning what is important to each and every student-athlete is truly rewarding. The majority of these families are confused about the process and what to do. I find it extremely rewarding to navigate the families through the process.
