Originally from the U.P of Michigan, Tom has been working in the mental performance space since 2017. In terms of formal education and training, Tom has a Master’s of Science degree in Performance Psychology from the University of Edinburgh and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.
Tom has had the opportunity to gain significant experience with a diverse range of clientele —from high school, college, and elite level athletes and coaches, to providing executive performance coaching in corporate organizations, to most recently contracting as a Cognitive and Mental Performance Specialist for the United States Army (10th Mountain Division). Tom is passionate about using evidence-based methods to support anyone in building a comprehensive mental “toolbox” to optimize performance and enhance learning capabilities.
Outside of coaching, Tom spends most of his time hiking and traveling with his wife (Faren) and dog (Petey), or browsing for fresh veggies at the farmers market.
