I grew up in the Chicagoland area and attended Glenbard West High School where I played varsity basketball. I was named All-Conference and All-Area my senior year and drew attention from college coaches throughout my recruiting process. I played college basketball at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. As I was finishing up my degree NCC, I became a student-assistant coach there and help lead them to a conference championship and NCAA DIII tournament berth. I then spent the next four years at Elmhurst College as an assistant coach where we spent most of that time ranked in the top 25 for DIII. We finished second in conference twice and made the NCAA DIII Tournament once.
After Elmhurst, I was the top assistant at Cornell College in Iowa. I coached and recruited a handful of all-conference players during my three years. I jumped at the opportunity to work at NCSA in 2013 as it would allow me to give back and help younger players reach their goal of playing in college. My favorite part of this job is hearing the excited when players see progress in their recruiting and make their commitment.
