Athletics has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up playing baseball and football and I was blessed with the opportunity to continue my football career at Samford University in Birmingham, AL. During my time at Samford as a player, I was the first 4 year starting long snapper in school history, All-Southern Conference, Team Captain 2015 and 2016 and won The Team Award in 2016. We went to the D1 FCS Play offs two times during my 4 year playing career and won the Southern Conference Championship my sophomore year.
I graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration and a minor in Business. After receiving my degree in 2016, I returned to my alma mater as the Assistant Director of Football Operations and Player Personnel with the football team for a year and a half before moving back to North Carolina.
Working as a Football Recruiting Coach will give me the opportunity to connect with Student-Athletes and their families while helping them through the recruiting process. I have been in their shoes before so it will be nice to share my testimony and experience with them to make their recruiting process easier!
I reside in Raleigh, NC with my wife Courtney who is an ER Nurse at Duke University Hospital and our dog Finley. When I am not working I love to go to the beach, play golf and attend sporting events.
